How to Use AI to Generate Stories for Marketing Cons and Pros

Oleg Voronko

Artificial intelligence is a term we hear a lot but how can it be used in marketing?

AI allows marketers to better deliver experiences based on the customer's needs and behavior. Through natural language processing, AI allows marketers to connect with customers and gain access to information that was previously inaccessible.

Also, AI can be used to generate personalized content, streamline customer service, and improve the customer experience.

Let’s talk about generating stories.

Talking about its cons and pros, of AI-driven storytelling let us first consider the reasons why it is not widely adopted.

The main reason for this is that AI-driven storytelling has emerged recently and there are not many companies that use it, while traditional marketing automation software has been around for a long time now and they are used by numerous businesses all over the world. Another issue with AI-driven storytelling is that we don’t know how it works!

It’s hard to trust something you can’t see or understand.

Of course, as with any new technology, there are also some disadvantages that need to be considered:

Disadvantage 1: Lack of Originality

While AI can generate unique plots for a story, it doesn't mean that those plots will necessarily be any good. For example, an AI might create a plot where aliens invade Earth but end up being defeated by humans using their superior intellects and wits alone (which would certainly make for an interesting story). However, this is probably not what most readers would want to read about because they've already seen something like it before in movies or books. In short, AI may eventually become able to come up with ideas that people want to see more than once but at the moment, it is still in its infancy.

Disadvantage 2: Losing Control

One of the biggest problems with AI is that it can be unpredictable at times, especially when it comes to generating ideas for stories. For example, an AI might come up with a plot that people would like to see but it may also include some events or ideas that could potentially harm people in real life. To give another example, an AI might create a story where the main characters are all robots and humans don't even exist (which would certainly make for an interesting story). However, this idea could prove dangerous because there will eventually come a time when more and more sophisticated AI creations are being made by humans which means they will have no qualms about killing us off if we become too much of a threat to them (and this has already happened before in movies such as The Terminator ). In short, humans need to be careful about what kind of stories they allow AI to generate because if things go wrong then they run the risk of losing control over their creations and consequently endangering themselves in the process.

Now let's look at some of the advantages of using AI-generated stories:

Advantage 1: Specific Structure

The AI can be programmed to create stories that follow a specific structure. For example, the AI may have been trained on the works of Agatha Christie and will generate murder mystery stories with a similar structure. If you want to break into the market for mysteries, this is an easy way to do it. The same goes for romance novels or science fiction adventures. There's no need to reinvent the wheel if you don't have time or talent for it. You can use an AI-generated story as a framework to build your own work upon.

Advantage 2: Speed

If you're looking for speed, then using AI is obviously going to be much faster than writing something yourself from scratch every time you have a new book idea. This means that you'll be able to come up with more ideas in less time and get them out in front of your audience sooner! While there are some fantastic writers out there who are capable of cranking out books at lightning speed (such as James Patterson), most people aren't so prolific and they may never reach the level of output needed to become full-time authors without help from technology like this! Also, if you're simply not good at writing but know what sort of story you want, using AI will allow your creativity (rather than your ability to string together sentences) to determine how each chapter progresses instead!

Advantage 3: Unlimited Potential

As you can tell from the examples above, AI-generated stories have a lot of potentials. Especially when combined with the other tools that are available to writers today (like self-publishing platforms and social media). If you put in enough time and effort into writing your story, then there's no reason why it shouldn't be successful! The only limit is how much time you're willing to invest in marketing your stories.

Here is an example of a short story about a marketing routine of John Doe generated by an AI:

“John Doe is a marketing executive at an advertising agency. He has been in the business for over 10 years and has seen many changes, but he still enjoys his work. John's day starts with checking emails and meeting clients to discuss their needs. After lunch, he finishes up some tasks before going home for dinner.

One day John Doe was relaxing in his office when he received an email from a client. It read, "How are you? I am pleased to send you the following information about our new product and its upcoming launch. Please let me know what you think."

The next morning John went into work with a fresh mindset. He knew that he would have quite a few meetings scheduled for the day, but this never bothered him as he loved meeting new people and discovering their needs. At 8:00 AM sharp John met with one of his clients who was launching a new product in three days’ time. The client had been working on this project for two years and they were very excited to show off their hard work to the world. They were going to launch their product on a popular social media platform.

After the meeting with his client, John went into his office and settled down for some work. He first made sure that all of his emails were replied to and then he started working on the tasks assigned to him by his boss. At lunchtime, he met up with a few friends from college and they had a great time catching up over some food.

At 5:00 PM John got ready to head home after another long day at work but before leaving he checked his email one last time before heading out. To his surprise, there was another email from the same client as yesterday's message with an attachment containing information about the new product launch. The client wanted John's help in making this launch a success, so he decided to go back into the office for an hour or two after dinner to get things done before calling it a night…”

[To be continued]

Sounds intriguing, isn’t it?

To start you need just tell an AI something like:

“The story is about a woman who starts off with nothing and builds herself up into the person she dreams of being. The story illustrates how through hard work, dedication, and determination anyone can achieve anything they want in life.”
